Pinwheel Wall Decor

>> Monday, July 27, 2009

I finished this project a while ago and have been meaning to post about it!
I did it before my pregnancy gave me a nasty case of Carpel Tunnel (sore, numb, tingling wrist and hands). There is no way I would be able to do something like this now so I'm glad I got it done when I did!
Anyways, super easy project...All I did was sew the pinwheels, arange them the way I wanted them and then hotglued them on, then I just put it in this oval quilting frame. I think Im going to paint the frame........... some day, but not any day soon! :)
This project is part of my "no money-room redecorating goal". Yeah!

I think baby is just extra cozy and doesn't want to come out early. Hopefully Im wrong and she comes out tonight!

Happy Monday!

I love it! I'll have to remember this idea, I love decorating stuff that doesn't cost very much money!

P.S. So sorry your baby isn't here yet, I feel for ya! That last little part is so miserable!

If she's anything like these VanDorn cousins, she won't come out for weeks. For your sake I hope she comes out soon, like maybe tomorrow. Then also, mom might be able to come help me move after she helps you, before school starts. Wow we are busy people. You pray we find a house, and we'll pray she comes out soon!!! (Justin always remembers to pray for you, it's so sweet, now if only the rest of us would remember, I'm so caught up and stressed about this house thing.I think about you everyday, I just forget when I'm actually praying. Love you guys!!!! BTW why did you get all the crafty genes? SO cute!!!!

KYLEE!! I'm so glad you posted this because I have been trying SO hard to figure out how to do those damn pinwheels!! I want to do some with a pearl in the middle for Harlo's hair =) Are they super hard to do, and do you think you could give me directions? Sure would appreciate that!
ps, I've been sending my best labor wishes your way ;)

What a small world! Neal's friend Jacob's wife is named Julissa---that is so crazy! Did you know her when she was going to Dixie??? She was really sweet! They live in St. George now.

You're so creative and never cease to amaze me... don't be surprised if you come to my house (hopefully someday soon) and I have an attempt of this exact thing on my wall.
